Compound Rule Expressions
A compound rule expression is an expression that combines two nested expressions that are made up of any combination of simple, date-time, or compound rule expressions. You create compound rule expressions using Boolean operators. For example, you could create an expression specifying that if the number of orders processed is less than or equal to 100 AND more than two errors occurred during the processing, the process is out of compliance. In Optimize for Infrastructure, a Date-Time Expression is mostly likely used within a compound rule expression: for example, “Broker queue size is greater than 100” AND “Broker queue size reading time is after 5:00 p.m.”
