Viewing Rule Violation Details in the Metrics Detail Panel
The following table describes the information that is displayed for all Process and Step Metrics panel Rule Violation pop-up menu selections.
Column
Description
Status icon Status column
Displays Normal Status icon if the rule violation has been resolved. Displays Out of Compliance icon if the rule is in violation Statistically Abnormal iconif it is statistically abnormal.
DATE/TIME
Displays the date and time when the rule violation occurred.
The rule violations are sorted by DATE/TIME in descending order (most recent to earliest).
RULE VIOLATION
Displays the name of the rule instance that triggered the violation.
SEVERITY
Optional user-defined characterization of rule violation. Severity is defined on the Add/Edit/Copy Rule page.
DETAIL
Rule - No Violation icon
Indicates a rule that was previously out of compliance but is now currently in compliance.
Rule Violation icon
Click to view details about the rule that was violated.
SLA - No Violation icon
Indicates an SLA rule that was previously out of compliance but is now currently in compliance.
SLA Violation icon
Indicates an SLA rule that has been violated.
KPI Detail icon
Click to view KPI information for the rule violation. For more information about interpreting KPI data, see Analyzing Information about Key Performance Indicators in this guide.
Rule Instance Detail icon
Click to display the Rule Detail page. For more information, see Monitoring System Component and Business Process Performance.
The Display radio buttons above the Rule Violations for Process table enable you to select whether the table displays All Violations (both those that are resolved and those that are unresolved) or only Open Violations (those that are currently unresolved).
