Configuring Endpoints
*To configure the Endpoint connections
1. Navigate to the Endpoints configuration type.
The Endpoints table lists the four endpoints that you must configure in order to start the Analytic Engine instance.
2. Click an endpoint and click Edit.
3. Configure the endpoint connection settings.
The following table provides information about the endpoint connection settings.
Field
Description
Alias
Default name of the endpoint. You cannot edit this field.
Description
Description of the endpoint connection.
Protocol
Protocol type that the endpoint connection uses. The protocol types that are available in the drop-down list depend on the selected endpoint.

wmjmsnaming
JMS-Provider.
Select this protocol if Analytic Engine uses Broker (deprecated) as a JMS provider.
nsp
JMS-Provider, if Analytic Engine uses Universal Messaging as a JMS provider.
This is the default value of the protocol type for this endpoint.

JMS-Provider, if Analytic Engine uses Universal Messaging as a JMS provider.

Host
The host of the endpoint to which the Analytic Engine instance connects, for example localhost.
Port
The port of the endpoint to which the Analytic Engine instance connects.
Root context
The root context path of the My webMethods Server URL. For example, if you want to set the My webMethods Server URL to protocol://host:port/mymws, type mymws.
4. Click Save.
The endpoint connection settings are saved and listed in the Endpoints table.
Important:
Command Central does not validate the endpoint settings that you define.
