KPI Instances
A KPI instance is a measurement of one slice of business or system event data.
A Total Order Revenue KPI, which is not sliced by dimensions, has one KPI instance.
A Revenue by Customer KPI, which slices revenue by the customer dimension, has multiple KPI instances. Each KPI instance measures revenue for an individual customer.
A Revenue by Region and Sales Person KPI, which slices revenue by a sales hierarchy with two dimensions (region and sales person), has multiple KPI instances. Each KPI instance measures revenue for an individual sales person within a region.
A Queue Length by Broker Server and Broker KPI, which slices queue length by a broker hierarchy with two dimensions (Broker Server and Broker), also has multiple KPI instances. Each KPI instance measures queue length for an individual broker on a Broker Server.
The KPI Instance Detail page displays data for a KPI instance over any time period requested by a user. The default is the most recent four-hour period.
The KPI Summary page displays data for up to five KPI instances over any time period requested by a user. The default is the most recent four-hour period.
