Removing Personally Identifiable Information from the Metering Log
The metering log contains an entry for each service invocation that would be metered by webMethods Metering Agent. Each entry contains the name of the user that invoked the service. The metering log exists only when the metering simulator is enabled.
Integration Server rotates the metering log at the interval determined by the watt.server.statsLogRotateInterval server configuration parameter. When Integration Server rotates the metering log, Integration Server renames the current log to use the archive file name and starts a new metering log. The archive file name uses the format meteringyyyyMMdd_HHmmssSSSZ.csv, where yyyyMMdd_HHmmssSSSZ is the date and time the log file was created. Integration Server stores the metering log and the metering log archive files in the same directory.
The name and location of the metering log is Integration Server_directory \instances\instance_name\logs\metering.csv
To remove references to a user name or user ID from the metering log, use a text editor to search the log for the user name or user ID. Then remove or replace the found data.
Note:
The metering log exists only after application of a fix that includes PIE-85053 (IS_10.15_Core_Fix8).
