When you create a package, Integration Server creates a readme file (README.md) in the top directory of the package. The readme file is in the markdown format.

The file contains the package name and the location of the manifest.v3 file. Integration Server makes no further change to the readme file.

You can use the readme file to maintain package-related usage information.

If you delete a readme file from a package, Integration Server does not recreate the file. However, you can add a readme file to the package.
