Collecting Additional Diagnostic Data Upon Request
The diagnostic utility can be instructed to include additional data in the diagnostic archive. When diagnosing an issue in the product that has been reported to Software AG Global Support, Software AG might determine that information located in files that are not available in the default diagnostic archive may be helpful to debug the issue. In these situations, Software AG Global Support provides you with a file named additional_diagnostics.txt which contains the paths to the files for which Software AG would like to see diagnostics.
*To generate additional diagnostic data requested by Software AG
1. Place the additional_diagnostics.txt file provided by Software AG Global Support in the root directory of the Software AG installation that contains Integration Server.
2. Run the diagnostic utility to generate the diagnostic data. For instructions, see Running the Diagnostic Utility from Integration Server Administrator or Running the Diagnostic Utility Service.
When the diagnostic utility runs, it verifies that each line in the additional_diagnostics.txt file is a valid file, directory, or file glob expression before processing the files and/or directories for inclusion in the diagnostic archive.
The diagnostic utility places the additional diagnostic data in the archive in a directory named additionalInfo.
