Overview

When you create and configure a Web service package, you can deploy it on Web Services Stack, which runs on a servlet container.

By default, Web Services Stack runs on a Software AG Runtime instance at port 10010. After installation, the Web Services Stack deployment location is set to localhost:10010. You can configure an alternative deployment location using the Web Services Stack Designer plug-in. For more information, see Configuring Web Services Stack Preferences.

Note:
We strongly recommend you use only the Software AG Runtime (CTP) with the Web Services Stack Designer plug-in. Software AG does not officially support deployment scenarios for Web Services Stack on other web servers. To install the Software AG Runtime with Web Services Stack, choose Infrastructure > Shared Platform > Runtime in the Installer tree.
