Creating a Custom OpenUI Project Template
Use the following procedure to create a custom project template.
To create a custom project template
1. In Designer, go to Window > Preferences.
2. Expand the Software AG node and then expand the UI Development node.
3. Click Templates.
4. On the Templates page, click New Project.
5. Specify values for the following fields:
Field | Description |
Name | Required. The name of the project template. |
Description | Optional. A description of the project template. |
Resources | Optional. The resources that the project template requires. Do one of the following: Click Link to connect to the already existing static resources in the Resources folder. Click Import to import a folder from your local system into the Resources folder. Select one or more resources and click OK. |
Page | Optional. The pages that the project template contains. Click Add to add an already existing page template. The page template is available in the Initial Content field of the Page Options wizard. 6. Click OK.
After you create the custom project template, when you create an OpenUI Shell project, you can select the template in the Project Template field of the New Portlet Application Project wizard.
Note:
If you do not want the template to show as a Project Template option in the New Portlet Application Project wizard, clear the check box next to the template on the Templates page.
