Guidelines for Writing Expressions and Filters
When you write expressions and filters, keep the following points in mind:
Operators, variable names, and strings are case sensitive.
White space between the tokens of an expression is ignored.
Some syntax that is valid on the
Integration Server is not valid on the
Broker.
Broker saves the filter with the document type subscription on the
Broker only if the syntax is valid. Filters are always saved on the
Integration Server. For more information about using trigger filters when
