CentraSite records in audit logs all actions carried out on registry objects. The audit log of a registry object allows you, for example, to find out when and by whom an object was created or changed.

The audit log of a registry object you select is displayed on the Audit Log tab in the Details Editor.

Technically, audit log entries are stored as registry objects of the AuditableEvent type. An AuditableEvent object can be assigned an object-specific property named Comment whose value is displayed in the Comment column of the audit log.
