Security Settings for Folders and Files

For each Supporting Documents and Resources in the CentraSite repository, you can grant or deny the permissions described below to individual users, groups and/or roles.

Note the following:

When a user, a group or a role is assigned more than one permission, only the first is relevant. The remaining ones are ignored.

Since the CentraSite repository is a WebDAV site, the security settings available correspond to WebDAV ACL privileges.

Permission	Description
View	Allows read operations for the folder or file.
Edit	Allows modifications to the properties of the folder or file. For folders: Allows subfolders and files in the folder to be created. For files: Allows the file contents to be changed.
Delete	For folders only: Allows subfolders and files in the folder to be deleted.
