Starting to Work with the Eclipse GUI
We recommend that you start working with the CentraSite Eclipse GUI by opening one of the CentraSite perspectives, for example as follows:
To open a CentraSite perspective
1. From the Window menu, select Open Perspective > Other.
2. In the Open Perspective dialog, select CentraSite Asset Catalog or CentraSite Search and Browse.
3. Click OK.
The perspective opens. You then have to connect to the CentraSite registry and repository you want to work on.
You can work with the CentraSite perspectives just as you would work with any other perspective in the Eclipse Workbench. The Workbench remembers which views, editors and perspectives you have opened, and how you have customized your working environment. The next time you open the Workbench, it appears in the same view as you have previously left it. For detailed information, refer to Eclipse's Workbench User Guide.
