Excluding Derived Resources
The Automatically ignore derived resources by adding them to .gitignore check box in Git preferences is cleared by default so that the derived resources such as class files are automatically available to be included during a Git commit.
*To exclude the derived resources
1. In Designer, click Window > Preferences.
2. In the Preferences window, click Version Control (Team) > Git > Projects.
3. Select the Automatically ignore derived resources by adding them to .gitignore check box.
4. Click Apply and Close.
