Connecting to Target ActiveTransfer Server Instances
Use the following procedure to set up connections to target ActiveTransfer Server instances.
* To connect to target ActiveTransfer Server instances
1. In Deployer, go to the Servers > ActiveTransfer page.
2. Click Configure ActiveTransfer and complete these fields:

Entry
Name
Name to assign to the ActiveTransfer Server instance. The name can be up to 32 characters long and cannot contain spaces or the following special characters:
$ ~ / \ # & @ ^ ! % * : ; , + = > < ‘ ’ "
Host
Host name or IP address of the ActiveTransfer Server instance.
Port
Port for the ActiveTransfer Server instance.
User
User name for a user account with Administrator authority that Deployer can use to access the server.
Password
Password that is associated with the user name.
Version
Version of the ActiveTransfer Server instance. For information about selecting the version, see Connecting to webMethods Servers.
Use SSL
Whether Deployer should use SSL to connect to the server.
3. Click Configure. To test the connection, click .
