Scheduling a Job Through Job Center

You can schedule a job in Job Center to run immediately or in the future. You can also schedule jobs so that they run on a recurring schedule.

Note:

Elasticsearch data refresh jobs are required to ensure that all latest changes in the repository are available to users. You can schedule Elasticsearch data refresh jobs only if you have administrative privileges. In addition, you can schedule Elasticsearch data refresh jobs only from the work area. Elasticsearch data refresh jobs process changes in both the work area and the release area.

If there are multiple data quality cleansing or matching jobs scheduled to run concurrently for the same object, verify that there is no overlap in the records selected to avoid data errors.

1. On the Menu toolbar, click Administer > Job Center.

2. Enter filter criteria to narrow down the job search.

Note:
If you do not provide any filter criteria, the Job Center applies default values to the filter.

3. Click Next to apply the filter.

4. Under Schedule, click

for the job to schedule.

5. Specify the Schedule Details.

If you select...	The Job Center...
Unschedule	Unschedules the job if it was already scheduled.
Run now	Executes the job immediately.
Run Once	Executes the job once On the date and At the time specified.
Run on recurring days	Executes the job during the time period specified in From and To. You can further specify a time for the job execution to run in the Run at or Run every field: Run at HH MM. Job executes at this time during the specified time period. Run every HH hours or MM minutes. Job continues executing with the time gap specified.
Daily	Executes the job daily during the time specified in From and To.
Weekly on	Executes the job weekly on particular days during the time specified in From and To.
Monthly on	Executes the monthly on a particular day during the time specified in From and To.

Important:
Ensure that there is no overlap in the records selected if multiple jobs for the same object are scheduled to run concurrently.

6. Click Save.
