Defining Interchange Mappings to Load Data from External Sources to the Consolidation (Staging) Object
The procedure provided in this section describes how to use an Interchange Mapping of Remote Database type.
Note:
If you have configured your object to obtain detailed consolidation statistics, you can filter for records added or modified in a single import by a unique identifier. For configured Conceptual objects that are imported, both the parent and the child include the same unique identifier. The SVC logs also include the unique identifier as part of OneData Service Status Message.

Statistics .
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Configuration > Interchange Mapping.
2. Click Add New Mapping.
3. Define the mapping details as follows:
a. In the Interchange Mapping Source Information, define the following fields:
Field | Description |
Mapping Type | Select the type as remote database. |
Connection | Remote connection. |
Schema | Schema name. |
Entity | Remote source entity. |
b. In Object Mapping, Object List, select the Consolidation object.
c. Click Next.
4. Assign an alternate primary key if needed. Click Next.
5. Complete the Profile Name and Profile Description and map the source and destination attributes.
6. Click Save.
7. Click the Edit icon corresponding to the new interchange.
8. In Processing Options, enable External DQ Mode.
9. Click Save.
