Disabling A Foreign Key
If you no longer want a foreign key relationship, you can set either delete or set the foreign key as inactive.
*To disable a foreign key
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and select the object in which you want to disable the foreign key property.
2. Select the Structure tab.
3. Click Edit Constraints.
4. To delete a foreign key, click the Delete icon next to the foreign key.
5. To disable a foreign key, select the check box next to the foreign key and click Inactivate on the top right side of the grid. This is same as selecting the Inactive check box in the Edit screen of foreign key.
Note:
To activate the foreign key, you need to select the check box of the foreign key and click Activate.
