Interchange Mappings
Interchange mappings are a way to reuse the mapping of fields between an external and an internal database and can act as the backbone of the ETL (extract, transform and load) framework. All mapping configurations are saved in metadata. Interchange mappings support dynamic transformation of imported data through Python scripts.
There are three steps to using an interchange mapping:
Create a new interchange mapping profile.
Associate the interchange mapping profile to an import job.
Monitor the exception queue (if applicable).
For information about how to create or edit an interchange mapping, see
Managing Interchange Mapping Profiles.
OneData supports exception queues for errors that occur during import jobs. For information about interchange mappings and exception queues, see
Import Job Exception Queues.
