Scheduling Exception Queue Reports and Notifications
You can schedule an Exception queue report as a recurring job that sends the report to specific users. This can be accessed through the Job Definition menu in the Data Acquisition Exception Queue screen.
Important:
To schedule the exception queue, you must save the filter for exception queue using Save Filter.
An email is sent to the selected users with the consolidated error records from the exception queue after the exception queue report job is executed.
To schedule exception queue report and notify users
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Data Acquisition Exception Queue.
The Queue Type is Interchange, by default.
2. In Select a filter, choose the filter to apply.
3. Click Job Definition.
4. Complete the following fields.
Parameter | Description |
Selected Recipient User List | Select the users to receive the report from the Available Recipient User List. |
Job Export Type | The job export type. Set to Full, by default. |
Job Output Format | The format of the exception queue report that is sent to users, Excel or HTML. |
Notification Option for Job Result | The notification type to send to selected users when the exception queue job completes: Do not Notify. Do not send a notification. Notify on completion. Send a notification email. Notify on Errors. Send notification email for errors in the exception queue job. |
Notification Option for Empty Result | Indicate whether the users added to Selected Recipient User List must be notified of job completion even if there are no records in the exception queue. This scenario occurs when the records in the exception queue have been corrected and re-imported, before the exception queue job has run. |
5. Click Save to save this job definition for the selected filter.
6. Click Job Center to view the saved jobs.
7. Click the Schedule icon beside the saved job.
8. Provide scheduling options for the job.
