You can create different types of export jobs that correspond to the type of data that you want to export and the format that you want to use to export the data. Each type of export job has fields specific to the job type:
*Conceptual Object Export Job. Exports data for a selected conceptual object. To create a conceptual object export job, see Creating Conceptual Object Export Jobs.
*Database Update Job. Exports data directly to an external database or generates an SQL script file. To create a database update export job, see Creating a Database Update Export Job.
*File Generation by Object Job. Generates a delimited or XML file for each job step. The job exports rows of an object. To create a file generation by object export job, see Creating a File Generation by Object Export Job.
*File Generation by Timestamp Job. Generates a file by timestamp. To create a file generation by timestamp export job, see Creating a File Generation by Timestamp Export Job.
*Hook Execution Job. Executes the data export from a hook, a procedure that defines the data to extract. To create a hook execution export job, see Creating a Hook Execution Export Job.
