Enabling Retrieval of Deleted Users List from Non-Active Directory Services Database
The directory services database OneData expects to use when implementing LDAP for external authentication is Active Directory. If you use any other directory services database, use this procedure to enable OneData to retrieve the list of deleted users.
1. Navigate to Software AG_directory \common\lib\.
2. Open onedataclient.jar and do the following:
a. Extend the interface FetchLDAPDeletedUsers.
b. Replace the default method List<String>getDeletedUsersList.
c. Create a new jar file with these changes.
3. Move the new jar file to the following location:
Software AG_directory \profiles\ODE\workspace\webapps\onedata\WEB-INF\.
Note:
Make note of the fully qualified name of the class to provide in the
Fetch Deleted Users Class field when configuring a new LDAP profile. For details, see
Adding an LDAP Profile in
OneData .
