Overview
During inbound processing, you can have webMethods Module for EDI (Module for EDI) perform the following optional processing:
*Validate inbound interchange and/or group control numbers (or TRADACOMS transmission and/or batch control numbers). For more information, see Validating Inbound Control Numbers and Performing Control Number Validation.
*Automatically generate functional acknowledgments (FAs). For more information, see Automatically Generating Functional Acknowledgments.
Note:
Functional acknowledgments (FAs) are not applicable to the TRADACOMS and VDA standards.
*Automatically generate interchange acknowledgments (TA1). For more information, see Automatically Generating Interchange Acknowledgments.
