Using the Data Quality Inbox
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Manage > My Data Quality Inbox.
2. Choose one of the following:
*Consolidation Object. Displays all the consolidation objects that have pending records to be manually matched or merged by the current user.
Note: The consolidation objects, for which the Additional Column Qualifier, Merge Status Indicator, or Data Quality Steward Group is not configured, are displayed in the Data Quality Inbox of all users.
*Manual Matching Pending Record Count. Displays the number of records pending to be manually matched. Click Count to view the records in Data Manager screen or specify a filter. Select the single record to match and click the command hook Manual Match to view the Interactive Hook screen.
*Manual Merge Pending Record Count. Displays the number of records that are pending a manual merge. Click Count to view the records in Data Manager screen or specify a filter.
*Manual Cleanse Pending Review Record Count. Displays the number of cleansed records that are in pending review status . Click Count to view the records in Data Manager screen or specify a filter.
This record is available only if you have completed the following setup:
*Configure the Cleansing Status indicator and the Data Quality Steward Group qualifier for the object records.
*Configure the data quality steward group and notification in the Cleansing Configuration window of the Consolidation (Staging) object in order to allow the manually cleansed records that are pending review to appear in the Manual Cleanse Pending Review Record Count column of My Data Quality Inbox. For details on the cleansing configuration for a Consolidation (staging) object, see Configuring a Consolidation (Staging) Object for Cleansed Records Pending Review.
3. Select the records to merge and click Manual Merge.
Note: If the Consolidation (staging) object is in Default mode, clicking Count for match or merge and applying the filter on the Data Manager screen displays all the records in the object, not just those records that are pending a match or merge. As a workaround, change the mode of consolidation object to Nova or Flex.
4. To view all the records of the Consolidation object, click the object name in the Navigation toolbar. This refreshes the object.
