Verifying the Column Definition
OneData hyperlink commands only work in columns that are defined as a data type varchar, with the column qualifier, Parse Data Indicator. Use the following procedure to verify that the column in which you want to add a hyperlink is compatible with OneData hyperlink tags.
To verify the column definition
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Manage > Manage Data or View > Browse.
2. Navigate to the object in which you want to add a link and select it.
3. Use the option that corresponds to the object’s display mode:
In Default mode: click the
Advanced Definition tab.
In Nova mode: click
View > Definition.
4. In the Structure of Object properties, verify that the appropriate column definition is a data type varchar, with the column qualifier, Parse Data Indicator.
