Software AG Products 10.5 | Administering Integration Server | Using Command Central to Manage Integration Server | Managing Integration Server Groups

Managing Integration Server Groups
Use the Groups configuration type to create, update, and remove internal user groups. You can also use Groups to view LDAP and CDS groups.
Note:
Ensure that Integration Server is running before performing the following procedure.
*To manage Integration Server Groups in Command Central
1. Select the Integration Server environment from the Environment pane, then click the instance from the Instances tab.
2. Select Integration Server from the instance pane.
3. Click the Configuration tab.
4. Select the Groups configuration type from the drop-down list.
Command Central displays the predefined and any user-created internal user, LDAP, and CDS groups.
The name of a group starts with a prefix that identifies the type of the group. For example, the names of internal user groups start with the IS-GROUPS-local_Administrators, LDAP groups start with the IS-GROUPS-LDAP_group1, and system groups start with the IS-GROUPS-system_group2.
5. To create a group, click the plus icon and specify the following details about the group:
*Group Name A name that indicates the type of members in the group. Type the name without the local_ prefix.
*Members The Available list includes the configuration instance IDs of existing Integration Server internal users.
The configuration instance IDs start with the Command Central configuration type (COMMON-LOCAL-USERS), followed by the user name, for example COMMON-LOCAL-USERS-Administrator. To add or remove members from a group, select Available users and click the arrows to move them in or out of the Selected list.
Tip:
You can select several users by holding down the CTRL key. The left and right arrows move all users from Available to Selected and vice versa.
6. In the Groups list, click the name of the group and then click:
*Edit to update the members of the group. Note that you cannot change the group name.
*Export to extract the group configuration details as a Command Central template snippet.
You can create, update, and remove LDAP groups in Command Central, but using the LDAP configuration type, not the Groups configuration type.
7. To remove a group, in the Groups list, select the name of the group and click the minus icon.
Note:
You cannot delete predefined local groups.
