When you use the Merge action block and select the items to be merged, the XPath expression that defines these items can occassionally create performance problems for the mashup, especially if the items to merge are recursive within the results to be merged.

MashZone NextGen developers familiar with XPath can use the Merge Path property in Advanced Properties for the Merge block to directly edit this expression if needed.
