Using Traditional PDF Forms Created with Adobe Acrobat
Forms that are created using the older Acrobat suite of products are not XFA complaint. Users who need to leverage such pre-existing PDF forms may be able to do so by importing these documents into LiveCycle Designer; however, depending upon the complexity and the version involved, some cleanup might be required.
For more details related to importing PDF forms into LiveCycle, refer to the LiveCycle documentation. After the document is imported into LiveCycle and the form design is finalized, then the e-form can be distributed as an XFA-compliant form.
