How to arrange objects in a hierarchy
The following pages illustrate how the constructs conceived in the OMT methodology are illustrated, used, and related to each other in ARIS. The modeling constructs defined for OMT (for example, Class, Process, State) do not overlap with other modeling constructs within ARIS (for example, Event, Function, Entity type, etc.) and thus can only be used within OMT models. Hence, OMT must be seen as an 'independent' methodology.
