If you are a server administrator, you can system lock an element by using the server’s file system to make the element’s supporting server files read-only. If you do not know the names of the files that correspond to a particular element, use the
Lock Properties command from the right-click menu. For details, see
Viewing Lock Status of Elements. Usually, a system lock is not reflected in
Software AG Designer or the
Integration Server Administrator until you reload the package in which the element resides.
