Starting Integration Server Administrator
To use Integration Server Administrator, open your browser and point it to the host and port where the Integration Server instance is running.
The server must be running to use Integration Server Administrator. If the server is not running, your browser will issue an error similar to the following:
"Cannot open the Internet site http://localhost:5555."
"A connection with the server could not be established."
*To start the Integration Server Administrator
1. Open your browser.
2. Point your browser to the host and port where the Integration Server instance is running.
Examples
If the server runs on the default port on the same machine where you are running the Integration Server Administrator, you would type:
http://localhost:5555/
If the server runs on port 4040 on a machine called QUICKSILVER, you would type:
http://QUICKSILVER:4040/
3. Log on to the server with a user name and password that has administrator privileges.
If this is the first time the Administrator user is logging in to Integration Server Administrator, keep the following points in mind:
*During installation of Integration Server, the person performing the installation specifies a password for the Administrator user. You must supply this password on initial log in to Integration Server.
*The person performing the installation might also set an option requiring that the Administrator password be changed immediately upon successful log in to Integration Server Administrator. If so, Integration Server Administrator displays the Create new password dialog box after the Administrator logs in for the first time.
Important:
Use the exact combination of upper and lowercase characters as user names and passwords are case sensitive.
