Performing a Data Explorer Search for Data
Use this search option when you do not want to use Elasticsearch to search webMethods OneData or you want to perform a quick and direct search in the webMethods OneData database.
Note:
This search also allows you to navigate the Catalog folder, which is not available in the full-text search result.
1. In the Login screen, enter your login credentials.
2. Select New UI and click Login.
3. Click Data Explorer.
The Data Explorer screen displays all the objects, records, folders, and so on in separate tables.
4. In the filter bar at the top of the screen, you can any of the following options:
*Type the full or partial name of the required object or folder.
*Click on one of the following filter criteria:
*Type. Select the type of item (object and folder) you require.
*Creation Details. Specify the object or folder creation Time and Created By details.
*Update Details. Specify the object or folder update Time and Updated By details.
5. Click Apply Filter.
Result:
webMethods OneData displays all records and folders containing the search string you specified. If your search string is a column caption, the search result displays objects that contain the column caption you searched for. If your search string is a user name, the search result displays the records created or updated by the user.
To view details of the records, objects, and folders, click on the object, record, or folder name. webMethods OneData behaves differently for each data type when you click on the name:
*For records, the record details window opens. If you have edit permissions for the record, you can even edit it, if required.
*For objects, the object details are displayed in a separate tab.
*For folders, the folder content is displayed in a separate tab. Subsequently, when you click on any object in the folder, webMethods OneData retains the same tab.
