Merging Versions
Versions can be only merged into the Pending Version. Only one version can be merged at a time. For example, Version 1 exists and has been Approved. Level 1 approver had created a Scratchpad Version -1.0. Level 1 Approver now creates a new major version (Version 2) which is in Pending status. Level 1 approver can merge Scratchpad Version -1.0 with the Pending Version 2.0.
To merge versions
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Manage > Manage Data.
2. Filter on approved version and click Next.
3. Click Manage Versions.
4. Select the Version to merge with the Pending Version.
5. Click Merge Versions.
