Defining Attributes in a Cleansing Project
Use the following procedure to create attributes in a cleansing project.
Important:
This procedure provides steps to create attributes only for cleansers other than webMethods Locate. For webMethods Locate, webMethods OneData creates a predefined set of IN and OUT attributes when you save the project.
*To define attributes in a cleansing project
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Data Quality > Consolidation > Project Mapping.
2. On the Command toolbar, click Add New Mapping.
3. In Project, select the cleansing project.
4. Define the attributes for the cleansing project, repeating the previous steps until each attribute is defined.
a. Define the required attributes.
b. Select the Is Required check box, if the attribute is required input in webMethods OneData.
Note:
If any required inbound attributes are missing, webMethods OneData prompts you to provide them before sending data to the data quality server for cleansing.
c. Click Save Mapping after defining each attribute.
