Defining Interchange Mappings from the Consolidation (Staging) Object to a Gold Object
Use the following procedure to define an interchange mapping to populate data from Consolidation (Staging) object, CDI_StagingObject, to the Gold Object, CDI_GoldObject.
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Configuration > Interchange Mapping.
2. Click Add New Mapping.
3. Define the mapping details as follows:
a. In the Interchange Mapping Source Information, define the following fields:
Field | Description |
Mapping Type | Remote Database |
Connection | Work Area Connection |
Schema | Work Area Schema |
Entity | Consolidation object |
b. In Object Mapping, Object List, select the data object, select Consolidation Gold object.
c. Click Next.
4. Assign an alternate primary key if required. Click Next.
5. Complete the Profile Name and Profile Description and map the source and destination attributes. Set Window Key from the consolidation object to the corresponding attribute in the Gold object.
6. Click Save.
