webMethods OneData provides external workflow support so that you can have integrated data and workflow management from an external system. webMethods OneData passes pending workflow transactions to the external system using iHooks and retrieves workflow items from the external system using workflow API methods.

The external approver can approve, reject, delegate, or save changes to the pending workflow transaction, but cannot use the Request Info action. webMethods OneData notifies the external approver when an action in webMethods OneData changes a step in the approval process for the pending transaction.
