Transition of a Record in the Data Consolidation Process
As a record transits through the consolidation process, its status is updated in the Cleansing Status indicator column accordingly.
Note:
Ensure that the Cleansing Status indicator column is of type numeric and column qualifier is Cleansing Status Indicator in the Consolidation table.
1. Unassigned. The initial status for new record data in the Consolidation object.
2. At this stage, the record status can be either of these three, depending on the quality of the record data requiring cleansing:
*Cleansed. The status of the record after the data quality server cleanses the record. The record is ready for matching. The value is 7.
*Cleansed (Pending Review). The status of the record if the cleanser does not have enough information to perform a satisfactory cleansing output. Requires review of record content by a subject expert (Data steward). The value is 8.
*Cleansed (Reviewed). The status of the record after a subject expert or Data Steward reviews the record in Cleansed (Pending Review) status, makes changes to the data, and then marks the record as Cleansed (Reviewed). The record is now ready for matching. The value is 9.
3. webMethods OneData sends records in Cleansed and Cleansed (Reviewed) to the matching engine. When the matching process is complete, the record status could be one of these:
*Created Auto. If the matching engine does not detect any match in the Gold object, webMethods OneData creates this record in the Gold object and sets its status to Created Auto. The value is 2.
*Linked Auto. If the matching engine does detect a match in the Gold object, webMethods OneData links the record to the existing Gold record, and sets its status to Linked Auto. The value is 3.
*Created Manual or Linked Manual. When webMethods OneData cannot clearly determine if a record should be marked as Created Auto or Linked Auto, it sends the record to the Data Steward. The Data Steward reviews the record and creates the record in the Gold object or links the record to the Gold object, and sets the record status to Created Manual or Linked Manual, respectively. The value for Created Manual is 5 and value of Linked Manual is 4.
