Managing Signing Keys
In order to ensure security for signing credentials, the files stored on the server are encrypted using the Jenkins server's key. This key is randomly generated during install and will be unique to your server.
Important:
Do not use files held on the Jenkins server as your only copies of your private keys. Once they are uploaded to the server, you cannot get them back in a usable form.
