You can create a service in CentraSite and deploy it to API Gateway. In API Gateway, applications can be added to the service to consume it. In CentraSite, the application that consumes the service is persisted as Gateway Application asset. The Gateway Application asset gets registered as a consumer in the Service Details page of the CentraSite.

The scheduler that runs in the CentraSite fetches the gateway application details from API Gateway based on the interval that you have specified in theAPI Gateway synchronization settings. When you modify the application details or delete the application in API Gateway, the scheduler synchronizes those changes back to the corresponding gateway application in CentraSite.
