Checking Current State of Audit Log
Pre-requisites:
To check the state of audit logging through the Command Line Interface, you must have the CentraSite Administrator role.
In certain circumstances, you may want to check if audit logging is On or Off. By default, the audit log is Off.
CentraSite provides a command tool named state auditLog for this purpose.
*To check the state of audit logging
*Run the command state auditLog.
The syntax is of the format C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd state auditLog [-url <CENTRASITE-URL>] -user <USER-ID> -password <PASSWORD>
The input parameters are:
Parameter
Description
CENTRASITE-URL
(Optional). The URL of the CentraSite registry. For example, http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite.
USER-ID
The user ID of a registered CentraSite user who has the CentraSite Administrator role. For example, Administrator.
PASSWORD
The password for the registered CentraSite user.
Example:
C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd state auditLog -user Administrator -password manage -url http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite
The response to this command could be:
Executing the command : state auditLog

Successfully executed the command : state auditLog
