Deploying a Virtual Service to Gateway
Pre-requisites:
To deploy (that is, publish) a virtual service to an API Gateway or a Mediator gateway through the CentraSite CLI, you must have the CentraSite Administrator role.
CentraSite provides a command tool named deploy for this purpose.
*To deploy a virtual service through the command line
*Run the command deploy.
The syntax is of the format: C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd deploy [-url <CENTRASITE-URL>] -user <USER-ID> -password <PASSWORD> -virtualService <VIRTUAL-SERVICE> -gateway <GATEWAY> -deploytimeout <DEPLOY_TIMEOUT>
The input parameters are:
Input Parameter
Description
CENTRASITE-URL
(Optional). The URL of the CentraSite registry. For example, http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite.
USER-ID
The user ID of a registered CentraSite user who has the CentraSite Administrator role. For example, Administrator.
PASSWORD
The password for the CentraSite user identified by the parameter USER-ID.
VIRTUAL-SERVICE
The name or UDDI key of a virtual service to be deployed.
GATEWAY
The gateway to which a virtual service identified by the parameter VIRTUAL-SERVICE is to be deployed.
DEPLOY_TIMEOUT
(Optional). The maximum time, in seconds, allowed for the deployment operation to respond. If the deployment operation does not respond before this timeout, the operation is rolled back. By default, DEPLOY_TIMEOUT is set to 60 seconds.
