Purging Versions of a Lifecycle Model
If you have created several versions of a lifecycle model, you might want to delete some or all the older versions. You can do this by purging old versions.
Pre-requisites:
To delete a version or all older versions of a lifecycle model, you must have the Manage Lifecycle Models permission for the organization.
By default, users in the CentraSite Administrator or Organization Administrator role have this permission, although an administrator can grant this permission to other roles.
Note:
*To purge a version or all older versions of a lifecycle model, the lifecycle model must be in new or retired state.
*The lifecycle model for lifecycles and the lifecycle model for policies cannot be purged.
*To purge a lifecycle model
1. In the CentraSite Business UI activity bar, click Design Time.
2. Select the desired lifecycle model.
A lifecycle model can be in new, productive or retired state.
*If the lifecycle model is in new or retired state and has child versions, the Purge action is enabled.
*If the lifecycle model is in productive state, the Purge action is disabled. Click the deactivation toggle button to change the lifecycle model status from productive to retired state and enable the purge button.
3. On the lifecycle model details page, click Purge.
4. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog.
The selected version and all older versions of the lifecycle model is deleted. Any newer versions of the lifecyle model are not affected.
