Using Command-Line Utilities for Export and Import
You can use the Broker command-line utilities to export and import Broker metadata. However, there are several differences between export and import with the command-line utilities and export and import with My webMethods:
Each execution of a command-line utility allows the export and import of metadata for a single
Broker;
My webMethods allows you to export entire branches of
Broker object data from the level of the territory downwards.
With the command-line utilities, you cannot select which dependent objects to include in the saved
Broker metadata; you must include or exclude all of them. Using
My webMethods, you can select which dependent objects to export or import.
