Shut Down the Service
Occasionally, you may need to shut down the service. For example, you must shut down the service when you want to move the machine from one location to another. Also, you must shut down the service when you need to re-install or upgrade.
1. Launch the Cluster Administrator application.
2. Right-click the webMethods Broker cluster group and select Take Offline.
It may take several seconds for all of the resources to be taken offline and for the resource State fields in the Cluster Administrator window to be updated.
