Release Notes

webMethods papiNet Module Version 7.2 FCS

Software AG is pleased to announce the release the first customer shipment release of webMethods papiNet Module 7.2. papiNet is the XML-based global business transaction standard for the paper industry and its business partners. It covers transactions between parties within the paper supply chain, which consists of the publishing, packaging, pulp and fine paper industries.

Support for New papiNet Message Releases

webMethods papiNet Module 7.2 supports the latest releases of the papiNet message standards: V2R30, V2R31, and V2R40. It also includes support for the updated envelope.

webMethods papiNet Module Version 6.0.1

papiNet is the XML-based global business transaction standard for the paper industry and its business partners. It covers transactions between parties within the paper supply chain, which consists of the publishing, packaging, pulp and fine paper industries. This inaugural release of the webMethods papiNet Module Version 6.0.1 offers support for the transactions and transport specifications defined in Version 2.1 of the papiNet standards, released April 2003.

    In addition, this module includes the records to support the papiNet messages versions 1.1 and 2.0.

    Reliable and Secure Messaging

    As prescribed by the papiNet specification, ebXML Messaging transport is used for reliable and secure business transactions over the Internet. papiNet messages are sent and received using the ebXML 2.0 message service specification. This is in addition to the core capabilities of the webMethods Integration Platform to support security protocols for transport and message authentication, including HTTPS, SSL, X.509 digital certificates, and digital signatures.

    Standards Compliance

    papiNet document validation ensures that transactions are compliant with the papiNet standard and specific trading partner requirements.

    Business Process Templates

    The module includes sample process models to jump-start your implementations. These samples describe common business processes within the paper industry.
