papiNet is the XML-based global business transaction standard for the paper industry and its business partners. It covers transactions between parties within the paper supply chain, which consists of the publishing, packaging, pulp and fine paper industries. This inaugural release of the webMethods papiNet Module Version 6.0.1 offers support for the transactions and transport specifications defined in Version 2.1 of the papiNet standards, released April 2003.
Includes comprehensive support for papiNet version messaging standards, which includes 22 transactions.

In addition, this module includes the
records to support the papiNet messages versions 1.1 and 2.0.
As prescribed by the papiNet specification, ebXML Messaging transport is used for reliable and secure business transactions over the Internet. papiNet messages are sent and received using the ebXML 2.0 message service specification. This is in addition to the core capabilities of the webMethods Integration Platform to support security protocols for transport and message authentication, including HTTPS, SSL, X.509 digital certificates, and digital signatures.
papiNet document validation ensures that transactions are compliant with the papiNet standard and specific trading partner requirements.
The module includes sample process models to
jump-start your implementations. These samples describe common business
processes within the paper industry.
The webMethods papiNet Module requires prior
installation of versions 6.0.1 of webMethods Integration Server, webMethods
Modeler, webMethods Developer, webMethods Trading Networks, and webMethods
ebXML Module.
