Upgrading the webMethods HL7 Module from 7.1 SP1 to 10.5
Upgrade the module from 7.1 SP1 to 10.5 by installing webMethods HL7 Module 10.5 in a separate installation directory, editing the properties in the config files, and migrating the data from webMethods Trading Networks.
Important:
webMethods HL7 Module 10.5 requires the supported webMethods Trading Networks version. You must upgrade all your webMethods products at the same time. For more information about upgrading your webMethods products, see the Upgrading Software AG Products for your release.
To upgrade the module from 7.1 SP1 to 10.5
1. Shut down all webMethods products and all other applications that are running on the machine on which you want to install webMethods HL7 Module 10.5.
Important:
If all products, applications, and business processes are not shut down, Installer cannot replace the key files that are locked by the operating system.
2. Back up the 7.1 SP1 WmHL7 installation directory.
3. Install webMethods HL7 Module 10.5 as described in
Install
webMethods HL7 Module 10.5. Specify the webMethods HL7 Module 10.5 installation directory for the installation directory. 4. Copy the ...\packages\WmHL7\config\listeners.cnf file from your backup installation to your 10.5 installation.
Note:
If you create a custom package or the module package, those packages can be copied and migrated.
Customized code tables can also be copied and migrated.
