webMethods Chem eStandards Module Version 7.1

Software AG is pleased to announce the availability of webMethods Chem eStandards Module version 7.1. In this release, the functionality of the previous version of webMethods Chem eStandards Module has been retained and it has been ported to the latest webMethods Integration Server 7.1 platform. The webMethods Chem eStandards Module 7.1 has been certified by CIDX as meeting the requirements to support the standard.

Certified for Use on Integration Server 7.1

webMethods Chem eStandards Module 7.1 is certified and tested to work with webMethods Integration Server 7.1. This enables the Chem Module to take advantage of the new and improved features of the platform. For example, developers can now use the new and improved design tools to create and manage Chem process models.

New Process Model Templates

webMethods Chem eStandards Module 7.1 provides a new set of webMethods Designer based templates that can be used to create process models for use on Integration Server 7.1.

Web Based Monitoring of New Chem Processes

Because Chem eStandards Module 7.1 is certified for use with the Integration Server 7.1 platform, users are now able to use webMethods My webMethods Server (MWS) and its web-based monitoring capabilities to monitor the new process models created with the new templates provided with this release.

webMethods Chem eStandards Module Version 6.0.1

webMethods is pleased to announce the availability of webMethods Chem eStandards Module Version 6.0.1. In this release, the functionality of previous versions has been ported to the new webMethods 6.0.1 Integration Platform. The webMethods Chem eStandards solution has also been officially certified by CIDX as meeting the requirements to support the standard.

Powered by CIDX

As a member of the CIDX Solution Certification board and developer of the inaugural solution supporting the Chem eStandards, webMethods is a certified solution provider, as evidenced through approved use of the Powered by CIDX logo in the Chem eStandards Module.

Migration of Conversation Manager to new Process Run Time

In webMethods 6.0.1, all component execution is managed through the Integration Server Process Run Time (PRT) engine. The previous Conversation Manager/Conversation Script run time has been migrated to the new universal PRT. Other advantages of this re-design:

Use of Trading Partner Agreements (TPA) in place of Conversation Script Parameters

Conversation Script parameters have been moved to the new TPA tab in Trading Networks, in lieu of the need for extended parameters. This design is more intuitive for users and provides an upgrade path should CIDX decide to implement the use of Trading Partner Agreements as an official CIDX specification.

Transaction Archive Updated

Chem eStandards versions 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2 and 3.0 are now available for download and use on webMethods 6.0.1 from the webMethods Advantage Web site.

Business Models and Samples Updated

With Conversation Scripts/Conversation Manager no longer necessary, all sample process development now uses webMethods Modeler (formerly called Business Integrator). The Business Integrator samples and business model templates from previous versions have been updated for use with webMethods Modeler 6.0.1.

Software and Platform Support
