Chem eStandards Module Version 7.1.July 2008 | Installing and Using CHEM Module | Importing Chem eStandards Process Archive | Exporting Chem eStandards Process Archive

Exporting Chem eStandards Process Archive
After you make changes to a Chem eStandards Process Archive, you have essentially created a customized Chem eStandards Process Archive from a standard Chem eStandards process. Yet, if you simply import the new version of the Chem eStandards Process Archive on top of the old version, your customization might be overwritten.
To avoid losing your changes the next time the CDIX organization or Software AG releases a new version of the Chem eStandards Process Archive upon which you based your custom process archive, export the customized Chem eStandards Process Archive and give it a different name than the standard Chem eStandards Process Archive.
*To export a Chem eStandards process archive from theIntegration Server
1. Start the Server Administrator, if it is not already running. If you need procedures for this step, see the webMethods Integration Server Administrator’s Guide. In Integration Server Administrator, select Adapters > Chem.
2. In the Integration Server Administrator: Adapters > Chem.
3. Click Chem Export to display the following page:
4. Enter a file name for the new process archive file; for example, MyOrderCreatev20.par for a custom process archive based on OrderCreatev20.par.
5. Enter a name for the new archived Chem eStandards process; for example, CustomPurchaseOrder for a custom Chem eStandards process based on E41 OrderCreate version 2.0 process archive.
6. Enter a number for the new archived Chem eStandards process; for example, Z41 for custom Chem eStandards process based on E41 OrderCreate version 2.0 process archive.
7. Enter a version number for the new archived Chem eStandards process; for example, 2.0 for custom Chem eStandards process based on E41 OrderCreate version 2.0 process archive.
In general, you should use the same version number as the standard Chem eStandards process on which you based the custom Chem eStandards process, at least for the initial creation of the custom Chem eStandards process. Subsequent updates of the custom Chem eStandards process might require a version numbering scheme that diverges from that of the standard Chem eStandards process.
8. Select the check boxes for all of the TN XML document types that you want to export as part of the new Chem eStandards process.
9. Select the check boxes for the Trading Partner Agreements (TPAs) that you want to export.
10. Select the check boxes for all of the Chem eStandards process Integration Server folders that you want to export as part of the new Chem eStandards Process Archive.
11. Click Create Archive.
