You create mapping services, which consist of two types: outbound and inbound. You create an outbound mapping service to map an internal business document received from the back‐end to a Chem eStandards payload that you want to send to a trading partner. You create an inbound mapping service to map a Chem eStandards payload received from a trading partner to an internal business document that is then sent to a back‐end system.
